Do I get a discount with University Catering as a student?

University Catering has a full menu for student organizations at a discounted rate. This includes, but is not limited to, beverages, appetizers, snack breaks, buffet meals, served dinners, and desserts.

Can I bring outside food in for my event?

Outside catering is only allowed for cultural or religious purposes, based off of your Student Organization. Paperwork must be obtained through our sales office in Room 154 of the IMU prior to confirming your outside caterer.

When will catering sign my EIF form?

Once we have collected payment for your event, we are happy to sign off on your EIF form.

I am part of a Student Organization, but a department is paying for the event.

If a department is paying for the event then they are responsible for the standard pricing. Student discounts are only offered to student organizations paying directly out of their student account.

What if I do not know my budget for food and beverage?

You are welcome to visit the SOBO office located in Room 159 of the IMU to inquire about your budget.

What is the best way to get in contact with someone from the catering office?

​​​​​​​The best way to get a hold of us is to call or email us in order to set up an appointment. We accept drop-ins for signing off on EIF forms and providing us with payment.
